Rank Forge started with a simple frustration. We kept meeting small business owners who were great at what they did but invisible online. They had spent money on websites that got no traffic, agencies that sent confusing reports, and ads that drained their budget without bringing in customers. They were doing everything right in their business and still getting left behind on Google.
The name says what we are about. A forge is where raw material gets shaped into something strong and useful through steady, deliberate work. That is exactly how good marketing works. We are based in Greater Houston and work with small businesses across the country. Built by an operator, not an agency suit
Rank Forge is led by founder Blair Henderson, who came to marketing the long way around. Before the SEO audits and e-commerce dashboards, Blair was a track and field student-athlete at Louisiana State University, where he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology while balancing athletics with building his first business. He went on to complete an M.S. in Public Health at the University of Memphis. That athlete's discipline — show up, measure everything, improve a little every day — is exactly how he approaches a client's growth.
He is also an operator who has built companies from zero. Blair founded and scaled Elite Training Services, a Houston fitness and online-coaching business he grew to 80+ clients and an audience of more than 90,000 followers through branding, social, and retention — a journey later profiled by CanvasRebel. He then founded CannaWize Co, an e-commerce brand where he personally drove over $750K in revenue through technical SEO, Klaviyo email flows, and conversion optimization — even rebuilding strategy from scratch to recover revenue through a major industry disruption.
Today Blair pairs that hands-on operator experience with deep digital-marketing expertise: SEO and technical SEO, GA4 and Google Search Console, local SEO and Google Business Profile, conversion rate optimization, and lifecycle email marketing on Shopify and Klaviyo. He has also run multi-channel campaigns as a project manager coordinating SEO, development, design, and paid-media teams. He knows what it feels like to sweat a budget and count on every single lead — which is why Rank Forge treats your marketing the same way he treats his own.
